The Indiana Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders (INCCBD) a professional association for special educators, related service providers and parents, works to improve the educational success of individuals with exceptionalities. The Teacher of the Year Award recognizes an individual who has made sustained and significant contributions to the education of children and youth with emotional disorders in the state of Indiana. It is awarded to an individual whose work is consistent with CCBD’s mission statement. Nomination Procedure To nominate a person for the “Teacher of the Year Award” submit a 1-2 page summary of the individual’s significant and lifelong professional contributions to the education of children and youth with exceptionalities. Include how the individual’s work is consistent with CCBD’s mission. Also, include your name, contact information and relationship to the nominee.
